A place where pain and sorrow are welcomed
Due to the fact that these are the things that test a bond
Our bond will pass any test given

Most importantly you are a true friend
When the nights are long and cold and the wind blows
I know that in your arms I will find shelter
A place of warmth and love
A place that I can call my own
I know that when the sun is high and the clouds are blue
The birds are chirping and everything is gay
All that is because of you
You were the one who kept me safe during the storms and rain
You stayed by my side when all I wanted to do was fall to my knees and quit
It was you that helped me to stay strong
Its funny how I can write a poem
And never ever meet you before
All I know is that you are the one who will rescue me
