Demeaning or Just Guilty....
So today I was talking to one of my friends and we got into the age old argument of how some club songs are so demeaning to women and blah blah blah. I mean me personally I do not find these songs demeaning because I know that they are not talking about me and that I cannot relate to them on a personal level. There are plenty of songs that you can find me bouncing to in the club that are rude and CAN be offensive to some women but like I said not to me because I know who and what I am and none of those songs describe me. Also I tend to believe that all artist write from personal experience no matter how crappy the song is. So if a dude is writing a song about how he "fucked this hoe" and how this "bitch sucked him up" then hey thats what happened. It wasn't me and I have never been in a situation where I engaged in any form of sexual intercourse where I would be considered to have shown "hoe" behavior so if the song has a nice beat and a snappy chorus, when it comes on in the club Im down to move to the beat. I don't get mad and say how dare he calls that girl a "bitch" or tell about their sexual encounters! Hey I look at as freedom of speech and dude just expressing the way he felt or relaying the story of what happened. Example one of my favorite songs in the club is Travis Porter Make It Rain. I do not find that song the least bit offensive. I am not a stripper, I don't shake my behind for cash nor show it for currency lol so why would I get all bent out of shape about the songs lyrical content? I have a theory and this is a theory not a proven fact so no need to get bent out of shape about it unless deep down inside you know its true. But my theory is females who find songs to be offensive and demeaning are either one of two things. One a feminist or two guilty! I say guilty because when I was younger I used to always here this saying "a hit dog will holler" meaning that in order for you to find this song demeaning or disrespectful you would have to relate or deep down inside you know that you can fall under the category of the person that the song is talking about so you sympathize with her ("hoes stick together"). I don't know maybe my take on the situation may be wrong or foolish but hey its my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own...Right!

What's Beef?...Not This!
So as most people know like 2 weeks ago Fabolous and Soulja Boy got into a twitter war because Soulja Boy got mad because of a line Fab dropped in one of his song... making reference to Soljua's coke habit (LMAO). Because Soulja Boy is mad young and lame af he decided to talk ish on twitter! LMAO dude seriously how old are we?! I remember my last internet beef. It was in 10th grade with some scary little girl that got mad because what I said about her was true. So she tried to slander my name on FB or was it Mysapce hmmmm, Idk but anyways I argued back with her for a min but after a while it got pointless and I realized she wasn't worth any of my time. But just when I decided to drop the "beef" and move on with my life one of her friends decides to jump in and make it known that she had her friends back...hmmm I guess! And I guess thats what 50 Cent lame butt decided he had to do for Soulja Boy. Like dude seriously? Its bad enough that you can't even walk in the streets on NY without a bulletproof vest or car but you want to take some coked up kids side against FAB making your chances of ever seeing the streets of NY minimal. Like dude you know who Fab is, like what would posses you to do such a thing? But what makes the whole situation worse is when Soulja Boy said that Fab was whack and that he has better than him! WHOA!!! SOULJA PLEASE STOP PLAYING YOURSELF! YOU KNOW GOOD A DAMN WELL THAT SHIT IS NOT TRUE! YOUR FIRST SONG WAS ABOUT CRANKING SOME WHACK AS DANCE LIKE WTF DUDE?! WHEN EVERYONE WAS SAYING HIP HOP WAS DEAD THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT YOU AND EVERY ARTIST YOU EVER SIGNED TO YOUR WHACK AS LABEL! (sorry bout that but I really can't stand Soulja Boy's whack ass) Then to top it off him and 50 decided to come out what to me sounds like a dis song called Mean Mug!...Ok so I attempted to listen to the song but the lyrics and everything was straight bull shit! The beat was ok but other than that that song was a #fail. If I was Fab I wouldn't even respond but then I would love to hear Fab's response cause I know it would be some Ill ish! Either way Im kinda happy Soulja Boy did this cause then hopefully Fab will end his career and last time I checked 50 shouldn't even be making songs anymore! I bought 5 of Kanye's albums to make sure of that (No lie!) Ugh what are we going to do about these rejects? Great idea ignore them! Anywho I can't wait for Fab to drop another mixtape or album cause I stay bumping that The Funeral Service and Im ready for more!
